Don't Panic
Emailing my Goodweather Reports has become more and more time consuming as well fraught with difficulty. And there's the looming possibility of another mailing list disaster such as I suffered last year, in which I lost great chunks of names and addresses.
So, rather than agonize over these problems every month, what I propose to do is post the monthly newsletters here. If you wish to add comments, feel free. Or you are equally welcome to email me your observations as you've done in the past.
Instead of a newsletter, I'll send you a hot link at the beginning of each month as a reminder that the newsletter is up. Of course you can also sign up over there on the right to become a follower (I hate that term -- so sheep-like! Why can't they say member?) and get automatic notification.
Onward and upward!
And please let me know if this is going to cause a problem for you. For those of you on dial up, it should at least unclutter your mailbox.
Keep Calm and Carry On! love it! Vicki - I think this is a smashing idea. When something we do for fun, enjoyment, and/or fulfillment starts causing stress it's time to re-tool (in my humble opinion). I love the newsletter and think reading it this way will be every bit as lovely as the other. Thanks for thinking of a way to keep it, rather than giving it up.
I think this is a super idea! I can't always see all of the pictures in the e-mail (probably something to do with my computer), and I'm all for anything that gives you more time to write :)
Love the idea of doing your newsletter as a blog. I've noticed that when I received it via email, it's kind of odd how it comes up...way off my screen and I have to scroll from side to side. I think this is going to work out well for you also, agree with Kaye Barley about retooling when something fun starts causing stress.
This monthly blog is the continuation of my previously emailed Goodweather Reports, all of which are archived on my website. (See below)
For those on my mailing list, I email monthly reminders when a new post is up. You are also welcome to become a follower or take advantage of one of the other widgets that delivers the Report to your email box.(Also see below)
Please leave a comment or email me vicki_laneATmtnareaDOTnet and let me know what you're reading or anything else that's on your mind!

Of course! I'm for anything that simplifies life and lets me stay connected with your thoughts and pictures............and (baaaa) your Followers!
Glad you all approve!

You should have mentioned that, Victoria! Might have inspired me to make the change sooner!
Oh! I forgot to say how much I enjoy the reading the newsletter each month, and I'm so glad you are posting it here for us to read.
Thanks, Vicki!
Nice. A few glitches in font and spacing, but that's okay. Just keep the lovely pictures coming! (Oh, and the books too.)

Hey, Susan -- Yep, I think it's going to be a real improvement!
